Argentinian attacking midfielder Nico Paz is quickly emerging as one of the most exciting young players ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Following an impressive rise through Real Madrid CF’s academy system, the left-footed playmaker made his senior debut for the club in a Champions League clash in November 2023. A few months later, Paz secured a move to Como 1907 in Serie A, where he quickly established himself as one of the league’s standout young midfielders. Branded 'a champion' by manager Cesc Fàbregas and praised by Argentina teammate Lionel Messi as a player who 'reads the game perfectly', it comes as no surprise that Real Madrid are on the verge of triggering Paz's buy-back clause to bring him back to the Bernabéu. While Argentina's World Cup squad has yet to be announced, the 21 year old looks set to announce himself to the world on football's biggest stage.
